But there is no need to worry nowadays, as technology has advanced. Dry ice blasting performs these tasks in a secure, safe, and reliable way. It does not use any water or chemicals; it only uses CO₂ pellets at very high speed, which is best for deep cleaning.
What measurements are required before performing it: Precautions must be followed for safety before performing the detailing. It should be ensured that the engine is completely cool. Accidentally or unintentionally working on a hot engine can cause streaks and sometimes damage seals.
The next most important task is removing extra debris. To perform this task, air compressors or a vacuum can be used, which cleans the area and protects the engine from damage.
How to Perform the Cleaning Process
Always perform the cleaning process from top to bottom, as grease naturally flows downward.
Pre-Rinse: In traditional cleaning, the entire engine bay is lightly misted with a hose so that dust loosens and can be cleaned easily. However, the dry ice cleaning process is performed differently, directly targeting the dust with high-speed pellets and removing it without damaging the surface.
